Dr. John R. Acord Jr. didn’t end up in Purvis by accident. He chose it — and has stayed for more than 25 years — because he believes that people in smaller communities deserve the same quality of specialized chiropractic care available in major cities.
He earned his undergraduate degree from Delta State University before completing his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas — one of the most respected chiropractic institutions in the country. He graduated in 2000 and has served Lamar County ever since.
Every patient gets a thorough evaluation, a clear diagnosis, and a care plan that addresses the underlying cause. He lives in the Bellevue area of Hattiesburg with his wife Nikki and their sons, and his patients know him as a neighbor, not just a doctor.
Dr. Acord’s philosophy has been consistent since day one: a thorough evaluation to accurately diagnose your problem is critical to the success of your care. A customized treatment plan will be put in place to correct your problem. Failing to plan means planning to fail.
